Allergy

It started off on Mon morning. I thought it's time to change the bed sheet. It's less than a month since I put on the red flower sheets. I went and took a bath. I don't usually bathe in the morning you see. I felt itchy on my neck, I can't help but to scratch a little. You see...My skin is very sensitive, a scratch will look like a bruise after a while, or a huge weird patch of erythema on the neck. I decided that it's turtleneck day, to avoid all the embarassment and worries.
It was well in the morning, mild itch on the neck till lunch time.
During afternoon lessons, the itch was horrible that I felt like tearing off the turtle neck and start scratching!... There was also slight redness on the side of my face. Throughout lecture I was absolutely disturbed and kept on asking Hwa how did I look. I even endured post-class lab sessions with Yaochun for 2 hours.
After class, I can feel that the itch has travelled down to my tummy and even my thighs. I endured the walking journey home, and the first thing I do when I reached back is strip and look at the mirror. And there!...I saw it! I look like one of those pictures in the Pathology textbook! Cases of Steven Johnsons..!! I was totally shocked... It was very itchy...
I even cooked myself a meal of pasta before going to the clinic.
It turned out that it's an allergy. My first allergy in my life. There are 2 suspects. Cockles or Ponstan. I had cockles on Sunday afternoon. Time line fits... Yet it's not my first time eating it, it's my 20 time? I think... But you never know, that sunday's cockles might be ultra filty.
Ponstan? I had it 5 days ago, it's my 3rd time taking it, but it's my 1st time taking a double dose of 1g. For now, I'm not sure who's fault it is. The doctor actually made a drug allergy report to HSA. Haha.... Another case of mefenemic acid allergy.
After taking 2 full days of antihistamine... The swell went down. I wanted an injection this morning, but the stupid doctor from UHWC insisted that it's only reserved for emergency. Well, I guess because it's free there, they won't give out unnecessary injections to a healthy looking red girl.
So for now, no more cockles and no more Ponstan. Sadded, I though i've found the cure for my menstrual cramps, I guess I need an alternative.
