CGI

The weekend comes and goes really fast. What I can remember is that I've spent a huge part of the weekend with Hann.
We went and watched Transformers on Sat afternoon. Transformers is definitely one of the best show for the summer. Hann said the show is great because of its amazing CGI(I think it's computer generated images), and yes..the transformers just look so cool!!! Esp the one which transform as they are moving or flying, totally jaws-dropping!
After the show, we went to HMV just to check out some music. And just happened that "Zhang Da Tong" is having some performance at the HMV fountain stage. It was supposed to be at 330pm, so being there at 327pm, I decided to stay and take a look at this guy who I think have quite special vocals. We waited till 350pm and still no sight of that guy... Totally disappointing. Hann got rather impatient actually, and said that he's not a good artist as he's not on time. Haha... We went into HMV and heard some great Bon Jovi while Hann went to check out on Linkin Park's Transformers ST. Mr. Zhang only came out at about 415pm!!! And he just walked in front of me, as Hann and me was listening to songs near to the entrance of HMV. His face is very clean and spotless, very fair guy, totally PRC... He went up there, and started singing... Well he definitely has a unique voice and sounded not bad, a bit of the Jay Chow style I should say. Hann agrees that his vocals are special but detested the fact that he couldn't hear what he's singing... Haha..
During the late afternoon, we spent some time having Mud piece and Strawberry Smoothie at Taka Coffee Club. That was actually the place that we had our "first psuedo date" back in Year1. Me and Hann both had forgotten how did we actually happen to go out together then. All I can remember is that I've been to this coffee club with Cheah MingHann when I was back in Year 1. I guess must have been some insignificant reasons, if not it's impossible that both of us can forget at the same time.

GST hike officially started today, increment of 2%, from 5% to 7%. Actually I don't care much about it, as I won't be buying much expensive stuffs for now, and my only spending will be very much on groceries. We were really excited to see stores that will be absorbing the increment, such as Pepper Lunch, but I wonder how long that will be sustained. Giant will be absorbing the increment for certain products. Well, I think the hike doesn't really affect its business much, as the queue is as usual insane on Sundays... A good piece of advice: try not to do heavy groceries after Friday evening.

Tomorrow will be the start of a new week. I'm a lazy pig, I can't wait for the weekend to come again. For now all I can hope for is that week 2 @ NUH will be a great one!
