Growing up...fast

The trip back home made me lazy. After coming back from Ipoh, I didn't feel like going to work anymore, and felt that my holidays are wasted on working instead of slacking, and doing other things that I could not afford to do during term time. Only the sole motivation - earning money keeps me going.

The short trip back home for 4days was enjoyable and fruitful. Went Kledang Hill with Dad for 2 evenings. First trip we went for 4.2 ( I don't know why it's called that, apparently it's the 2nd toughest route). The journey uphill takes roughly half and hour, it's about 10 minutes longer than Kong Tau San but apparently it's less tiring. This is because the first 10minutes is a mixed of up-hill, down-hill and flat grounds. As for KTS, it started off uphill, a little flat grounds, and uphill again... So though the journey is shorter, it's definitely tougher. And it also shows that my stamina has dropped for not exercising for quite some time, since my last run at Clementi Stadium weeks ago. *Tsk tsk tsk...
Apart from the hill climbing routine, spent some time with Sis and Mom, sorting out a skirmish between the two. I guess it turned out fine. Hope that as she grows up, she'll learn to understand more of the heart of a mother, as I believe I'm gradually learning to think more about the decisions that my Mom made/makes. It's definitely not easy to be a parent, you're like a 24/7 role model, and it's definitely a challenge to any human beings.
*Stop being sentimental...Seriously I think I'm gradually moving into another phase of my life...I'm growing old...
Met with Ying and RY on Sat night and spent a night over at RY's house. We went and yam cha at a OldTown at Ipoh Garden East. The food there is not bad, but a bowl of laksa costs 5 ringgit. It's definitely expensive! But well, how often go I get to taste a bowl of good Laksa living in Singapore.?! After that we went back and chilled at her house. The girls were busy researching on their Taiwan trip while I was chatting... Eventually I gave up and wanting to go to bed. I guess RY's room was really too dusty that I had chronic nightmare!!!
Oh yah, the girls are all working... EY has been working at E&Y, while Carmen now works at Digi as an engineer. Very soon Ying is starting work at Agilent and settling in Penang, though RY is still slacking around. So now only left me... Another year, I bet it's going to be fast.
