It's my birthday, it's my birthday!

Preceptorship has finally ended. I wasn't that excited about it. I guess because school will be starting in a week's time and I have to settle my FYP selection this coming week. Would I miss NUH? I think largely no...But it'll be weird now that I don't have to walk all the NUH corridors and wards. I've definitely gotten quite comfortable with the place and the people there.
But for now, i guess I should focus on my final week of holidays.

On my birthday, it was celebrated with the aim of bursting my inbox. Even dad and mom wished through sms. I can see that my dad is improving in terms of technology. Was delighted to get a msg from Bixia downunder. So many messengers that I was quite distracted at work. However, on that very day, no cakes, no presents.... Hann promised to celebrate during the weekend, though I actually did feel weird that it was that "solemn".

2 days after the Day, the girls came over and we had a party with NYDC pizza, holland V satay, chips, and mama's Malibu(in which we din drink, since Sharon will be driving). There was cake..and it's ice cream cake from Swensen. I think it's my second ice cream birthday cake since I was 13 I think. Still remember ice cream cakes were meant for the rich, and the person who got it last time was my cousin Dodo as she's the only daughter of my small uncle.Me and the Swensen cakie... As usual, blushing there at 23... It's not going to improve.

We ate pretty fast since everyone was hungry...Oh how can I miss this out?! I was surprised. It wasn't anything big, it's just that I didn't know the girls were here, until they actually came up with the birthday cake lit. I was shocked! It has been a few years since there're good surprises. We did a bit of catching up, though it's more of a Nip*le thing rather than a Nepal thing for YL. Haha..and I seriously don't know why this Sharon and YL kept on laughing as though they had some spasm. eh...Where is Tinghui?...
Anyway, thanks girls..I really enjoyed myself that night. You girls are the best. Thanks to Mama for her good nurture... Hhahha!!!

My silly partner Lee Wan Xia bought me a delicious cake from NYDC on the last day of work as well. I was totally touched...but felt bad coz I didn't buy her anything. Em, maybe I can give her a good birthday present. Initially I really had some problems dealing with wx, however after living closely with her for the past 6 weeks at NUH, I think I've sort of gotten used to her style. At times, she can actually be so silly and cocky, that made me LOL!!!

I can feel that I'm becoming more relaxed now that my one-week holiday has officially started. Yup, let's enjoy. Looking forward to seeing Lifan and going for the MMU's convocation!
