TSoM

Was browsing through Youtube once again, and I came upon one of my favourite actress- Julie Andrews. She is just so gorgeous and amazing. She has one of the most beautiful and unique voice in the world!(Unfortunately, she lost her voice in 1998 due to a throat surgery)

I was first introduced to the Sound of Music when I was having chicken pox. Then I was 2, I still remembered myself sitting in the living room of my grandma's house, having some chinese herbal medicine spread on my body, while I was watching the Sound of Music. As I grow up, I appreciate different parts of the movie at different stages of my life. Then I hated the part when the sing "Do, Re, Mi" and definitely the part about Austria and the Nazis never register in my tiny little brain. I also hated the part when the Sister sang "climb every mountain", that's just purely boring. My favourite parts when I was young includes the segment when Liesl went out to the gardens and sang the song "I am sixteen going on seventeen" and the part when the children said goodnight.
The show indeed grew up with me, and I've grown to like the parts in which I once hated. I learnt to appreciate the others songs that I don't understand, adores the confession of love by Captain Von Trappe to Maria, and eventually I've grown to understand the fleeing of the family from the Germans.
Today, when I watch the show, various parts still touches my heart deeply, and indeed it makes one feel like crying... It is definitely one of the best movie ever made on earth!
For those who are deeply in love with the Sound of Music, should check out The Sound of Music Children- After they are famous. A documentary depicting the life of the 7 Von Trappe children after they left Austria in 1965.

The weekend is officially over, and this coming week will be our final week of school before reading week zooms in. I had one of the best weekends with Hann. In a way, he has finished his psycho posting at the same time. I've definitely grown to understand him more, and really cherish all the times we spent together, when I can feel utmost peace and serenity. It's really something so precious, just like a shelter from the storm. Indeed this will be rarer since exams will be kicking in very soon. But hope that we'll continue to place our trust and hope in the Lord who has been providing and protecting us faithfully.

Oh ya, thank God for his grace on my Sis. Her house was broken in on thursday night. Apparently it's an insider job, as the lock wasn't tempered, but 2 laptops were missing. The sargeant wanted to investigate the case, and locked up all the girls except the victims and my sister who happened to be in Ipoh due to my Grandma's eye surgery.
