Just came back from Chinese New Year. CNY is as usual the normal celebration, gathering of relatives and friends, eating, drinking, watching HK shows. It's the same every year. Let me just highlight some of the exceptional events for this year.
- New addition to the family, little Natalie cheers up everyone when she arrives. She's just 5 months old, and now she's the queen of the house, especially with her new GAP baby outfit.. No wonder she gets all the attention.
- Dad is away in China during new year. It's really weird when he's not around, me and sis have to take a cab to go to grandma's place on Thurs itself, and no one buys breakfast or lunch for us... Now then i know how important dad is to us.
- Our very own 5S3 had our very first official class gathering after our separation half a decade ago. It was rather odd at first coz my closer friends are away, Eongyeng went back to KL for work, Lifan is in Russia, and Abbie was too lazy to attend such social events. Luckily I met CPK there and we sat together. Eventually everyone was going around catching up with each other, and it started to get more messy with chairs and cups everywhere around our 4 joint tables. 21 of us attended, almost half of the class, so I guess it's considered quite a success. Many of us are still the same, definitely everyone is prettier and look more grown-up. The shocking news it that Yean Mee who studied Actuarial Science is going full time for Campus Crusade for Christ. Wow... It's very amazing indeed. Too bad Ong Wee Leen wasn't here..I miss her.
- Last but not least, uncle strikes lottery, RM 30K!!! And he's giving me 100bucks! I guess this is truly his year.. The year of the pIg! Or in Malaysia, they called it the year of boar. I think u can guess why it's called like that in MALAYsia.

Yup so basically the new year has been quite the normal one, spice with special events here and there... N now i'm back in Singapore, once again, ready for the school and more work that is to come.

At Marina Square.. It's more like Chinese New Year than V-day, coupled with MH's red top.

We decided to celebrate on the 13th instead of 14th. Had dinner and Menotti, tried raw beef for the first time. Thanks Minghann for the flowers, and yup for the exotic meal at Menotti. Muaks!

On Valentine's day itself, we level 5 girls went out together at Corduroy and Finch. Dessert there rocks the house and ambience is just wonderful. Me and Tinghui here with our pettite plate of dessert sampler.
