The weather has been really bad and erratic. It just drizzled when the sky looked perfectly sunny and hot just now. I was totally shocked! And how the sky pours these days were rather extraordinary as well. So much rain... Yesterday...2 days ago. The weather is totally not stable.

Friends come and go. It's part of life, and I've sort of accustomed to it since I've came to Singapore. Things changed every few years, different set of environment, different set of friends. Through the years, only those that are meant for you stayed on. I use the word "meant for you" instead of the usual "true friends" coz I think it's totally too vague to use the latter. What are true friends? And who define true friends? Does true friends have to be there everytime you need them? And how frequent do you meet up with a true friend? It's just too complex for me to define this term.
Instead, I use the word "meant to be". Some friends still stay as friends, though they forget each other's birthday, they see each other once in a few years,and they don't buy gifts for each other. I have a few of these friends, and I really do cherish them very much, coz apart from all the negligence, they stayed on, and in turn appreciate the friendship that was built many years back in memory lane. However, I still feel that such friendships need to be spliced with certain signs of appreciation now and then. Such gestures are definitely much cherished. It's just human nature.
I'll be meeting a friend whom I've not seen since December 2003. Come to think of it, it's already 3 whole years. Time really flies!
