A must-blog

3 in 1 - 3 interviews in 1 day!

The SGH experience
My plans were all screwed before I arrived at SGH. Firstly, instead of waking up at 720am, I woke up at 740am. Instead of wearing the skirt I planned to wear, I felt that it was rather loose in the morning and decided to wear the UNIRONED A-line skirt (don't forget I already woke up late), and lastly, 197 bus zoomed past right in front of me and I have to take the alternative more TIME-CONSUMING route!
And when I have finally arrived at Outram Park station, it was 850am. Walked towards HSA, 855am.... Saw block 8... and thinking I was not that bad afterall, since block 8 is not located at some ulu faraway land. And guess what, I can't find the entrance after circling round the building! And at the very moment, I just feel like fainting off and die!
My inner self has been strong, "Don't give up... Think...think..." and decided to go back to the other side and took the lift up, although the uncle there kept insisting "这里没有Office 的!"...
And finally at 9.02am! I have arrived at the Pharmacy Office of SGH!!! Sweating profusely.... But extremely relieved that I'm there and there was a delay.
Fortunately, once I entered the interview room, things did turn out to be what I've expected. They asked me every single details in my resume, pharmtherapy questions in which I answered everything correctly since I've mugged on my "favourite topic" the night before, and I should say that I was happy after it all ended.

TTSH
TT is a very impressive place. It doesn't look like a hospital at all, more like a shopping mall, and it's so HUGEEEE!!! And they have escalators in the building!!! The interview was a breeze since SGH is conquered. At the end, I wasn't selected. I think it may be because they know that I wasn't that sincere or the final "uncompleted" task that I've mismanaged.

On the way back to school, SGH called and offered. I felt rather honored and relieved.

NUH
At the end of the day, here comes the final and the most important interview for me. After going through the first two, I wasn't nervous anymore. NUH interviewers are the most friendly and relaxed. However, they did ask some mind boggling questions, in which I think I did manage to answer fine. Half way through, Sook wei actually flipped through my resume and showed it to the man- interviewer, and they both gave out a giggle. Apparently, he was quite amused with me being a conductor, saying," Oh... We have a team of singers already, just lacking a conductor... Maybe you can do the job!"

By Friday morning, Masiah called and offered the good news. And NUH is chosen.
NUH will not be easy, though it may look relatively friendlier than SGH. We shall see in 3 months time! At least there's Jess, Hua pei and David! =)
