As of now, it's only 2-day old. Frankly he (I presume) looks like the father, though he got the mom's fur. He definitely act like the father coz he likes climbing and jumping. Just now, He even attempted climbing the trunk for goodness sake.

Pebble's baby
The baby chincilla is out! Not sure it's a he/she yet.... According to KY, it came out like a tube, isn't that beautiful. After it's out, the placenta which is bloody came out, and the mother ate up the placenta just like it's some post-partum herbal tonic. When I see it which is after 2 hours, the baby is no longer a tube and its fur is dry too. And here presenting to you, Pebble's baby, which is yet to be named...
