The holidays are going real fast. We're more than half way through this carefree season. It's passing wickedly fast, and very soon, I'll be back in Sheares Hall, and a new semester of pharm stuffs will be waiting for my attention. All I pray for is that the next semester would be a much relaxed one, it'll be the last semester before my final year anyway.

Was in Penang for the past 3 days. It has been an enjoyable trip. No regrets, just that the trip was too short. Should have listened to my dad, and go down on Tues instead of Wed. The trip has been rather nostalgic, in a sense that I visited many places that I've not been too since I was 10. Our family used to travel down to Penang along with my dad's marathon partners and their families. I did so many things that I used to do 12 years ago... visited the Botanical gardens, Kek Lok Shi, Penang Hill, and definitely took the Ferry.
Dad was so nice agreeing to take the ferry, though the wait was about an hour, but the experience was rather fun and definitely nostalgic. Visited the Botanical gardens in the afternoon. A very odd hour to visit such places especially in a country like Malaysia, but the weather on Wednesday was rather cloudy, so it was still bearable. There seemed to be a new specie of monkeys there. These black monkeys don't look local, they look rather Savannah to me though.
The trip to Penang Hill was exhilarating. The weather up there was so cooling!!! Almost like that of Cameron. The tram going up was rather slow though (as compared to that of HongKong, but well, we're in Malaysia...). If I have the chance to go back there, I'll hike up and reach there by evening, so at least can see the night scene of Penang, and definitely it'll be much colder at night! Yay!!!
After Mh left for KL, RY and ying accompanied me for Friday. We got lost on our way from Bayan Lepas to Gurney. How pathetic of me not knowing the route when I've traveled past it twice! I guess Penang roads can be rather confusing and the signboards are totally misleading.

On our way back to Ipoh, we paid a visit to Taiping. It's about half an hour from Ipoh and one still have to travel a distance to reach the town centre and the lake gardens. It's a rather pleasant town, with nice people and definitely nice landscape. If the temperature is to drop a little, it's definitely quite a perfect little place to relax and unwind.

And now, I'm back home once again. Christmas is coming and I'm not exactly very excited about it. Hope that the true spirit of Christmas will sink into my heart very soon, at least by tomorrow night... To all my friends in Malaysia, Singapore(Nini, TH, Yeelian, Swei!), Japan(Mama!), Australia(Jonathan!), just want to wish all of you a blessed Christmas!!! Love you all!!!
