Secret Recipes

It's officially my 3rd night at home. Home is good, esp when you come from Ipoh, the Haven of good food... Haha!!!Sis went back this morning, sadded. Should have spent more time catching up with her...
Life at home is just laxed. Slept early (except last night, coz i was rushing through my HK series) as everyone sleeps by midnight, including my sis. I just don't know why i sleep so much when I'm home. Slept enough, but still take 2hour long naps. Amazingly, this round at home, tv isn't in my daily menu. Was trying hard to read a bit of my Katzung. Guess what!! My dad really has an orchard planted right behind our house, not an orchard of Gold/Silver/Foreign Currency as mentioned by my dear fren back in hall, but a real orchard of fruits!... There are a million kinds of fruits in my house now -- Kiwi, Orange, Apple, Mango, Prune, Mangostene, and a funny fruit called "Ang Mo Durian"... My tummy now is extremely acidic. My fridge is just stuffed with fruits!!! So healthy yet freaky!
"Mounted" Kledang Hill for the past 2 evenings with dad. It was definitely fun, at least balance off my life of sit, eat and sleep. Stamina dropped, but dad was patient. After hill-climbing today, we were talking about Laksa, then he told me that it's very easy to cook Laksa one. Then he started telling me about the recipe, seriously I only catch bits and pieces of what he said, I have to write it down. I was amazed, you know, imagining your dad telling you how to cook LAKSA!!!, and he sounded sort of like a pro!!! It's seriously an eye-opener, I wonder what he cooks during the weekends for himself.... And he continued that Grandma actually cooks Laksa for them when they were young, Tom Yam and some exotic dishes, that's why all my uncles and aunties are so HUGE! (except for 2nd uncle i should say... Haha)I think I shall pick up some secret recipes from my Grandma and Ku Je. Hey Sharon, maybe if i manage to master the Penang Laksa (sounds easy from the way my dad describes it), I shall cook for you, then we don't need to go Penang makan!!!.....
Alright, that's all for now, greetings from Ipoh to all my frens in Singapore. Hope you all are missing me!...=)
